The 200 hour yoga teacher training course offers more than just knowledge. It will also give you self-confidence, which will help you to evolve into a spontaneous yoga teacher, and help develop your own individual teaching style.
200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Syllabus
Our Yoga Academy has designed a fantastic 200 hour YTT certification. It covers all aspects of Yoga, both on and off the mat. During the 200 hours YTTC you will explore:
8 limbs of Yoga
Yoga philosophy
Asanas
Surya Namaskar
Pranayama (this includes nadishodana, bhramari and kapalbhatti)
Meditation
Mantras
Teaching methodology
Adjustments and alignment
Anatomy
Introduction to Ayurveda

We conduct outdoor activities on Sundays (the rest day), for our students to enjoy. They include seeing the sunrise at one of the regions oldest temples, visiting the Vashist meditation cave and seeing the Ganga aarti (ceremony by the banks of the holy river in Rishikesh). As a results students enjoy a well rounded experience in India and taste the diverse culture here in Rishikesh
Requirements for Yoga Teacher Training
Prior experience of Yoga is recommended, but is not a necessity. The Yoga teacher training (YTT) certification will require a base level of fitness. However, what is truly important, is that students come to Rishikesh with an open heart and a willingness to embrace the teachings of Yoga.
Students, no matter what their experience in the practice of Yoga, should come as exactly that; students. One must come with an empty cup ready to be filled. We want to provide an environment that is warm, free from judgement, and conducive to learning. Wisdom and love can only truly flow once this has been established.

How to Apply
If you want to join our 200 hour yoga teacher training programme in Rishikesh, you need to fill out our application form. When your application has been received and accepted, we will ask for a $200 deposit to be transferred via pay-pal, to secure your application.
The deposit is non-refundable but can be retained should you wish to change the date of the course you wish to attend

- Day 1 - Delhi to Haridwar(200Kms/6hr).
Start journey from Haridwar check in at Haridwar Hotel. Take Welcome Drink. In the Evening take holy bath & arti at Harki Pauri.
- Day 2 - Jungle Safari Adventure.
(At Rajaji National Park) After Breakfast move for chnadi devi by trekking. After Lunch go for Rajaji National Park (Chila Gate).
- Day 3 - Jumping Adventure.
After Breakfast go for Rishikesh, Camping at Rishikesh (10 to 25 Kms far from Rishikesh). Bungee Jumping Swing Jumping, Flying Fox.
- Day 4 - Rafting Adventure with Cliff Jumping.
After breakfast go for white water rafting and cliff Jumping. In the evening Beach volleyball on the banks of River Ganga.
- Day 5 - Climbing Rappelling Adventure.
After Breakfast go for Rock Climbing Rappelling, Valley Crossing. In the evening other beach & camp Activities.
- Day 6 - Trekking & Cycling Adventure.
After Breakfast go for Trekking.In the evening go for Cycling.
- Day 7 - Rishikesh to Delhi (245 Kms/7 Hrs).
After breakfast go for Delhi. Go back to your home with unforgettable Experience. Leave with lots of sweet memories in mind.
